Christian Posted August 30, 2010 Share Posted August 30, 2010 I agree would definitely say bumblefoot. It is caused by a Staphyloccal infection following a puncture wound of some kind. This will need antibiotic treatment as it is difficult to cure without veterinary attention and often requires a long course of antibiotics. flutterby Posted August 30, 2010 Author Share Posted August 30, 2010 Than you for puuting photos up for me I had an inkling it could be bumblefoot - have given it a clean and sprayed will talk to vet tomorrow. May have to find something to use as a sick pen as I have the broody in my spareone! (hopefully hatching will start tomorrow) thanks for the advice.
