Hello everyone,

After getting our first ever 'girls' in March - which ALL turned out to be boys! After what seemed a very long wait Hyacinth has done us proud and we have now celebrated our very first home grown egg.

We are very proud!

Well Done! I was thinking the same about the girls and floor - my two light sussex are sort of a very light muddy colour and as for my white floor.... no comment

I wondered if this was the right photo to use ( most recent)! They are not supposed to come in the house ( but think they'd prefer it!) Despite their 2 story house fit for 10! They decided to shelter in here beacuse of the dreadful weather & they quite like radio 2. Who says chickens are not bright cookies!! We decided that if we left the dishwasher open that would keep them out:
