cake truffles/bites

made these for my mum's birthday the other day, they are divine!

 

I made a madeira cake in my breadmaker and when cool, crumbled it into a large bowl, added 400g melted dark choc and mixed it in, then added a couple of slugs of Amaretto and mixed it in. Then i got in with my hands and squidged it all together, rolled it into balls and put them in the fridge to cool. When cold, I dipped them in chocolate.

 

Can't tell you how nice they are, not with my mouth full anyway, you'll just have to try them! ;):drool:
