How did the first loaf go Dizzy-Deb? Turning out my own bread always gives me a warm domestic-goddess feeling, even if it has been made by the machine :D (and I'm no domestic goddess!). Mine's on the timer today to produce bread for about half an hour after I get home (gives me time to sort out cats/hens before it's ready) and it's great to open the front door to the smell of bread cooking - drool!

First attempt was to do a spiced fruit bread (hubby fancied that one) and its come out yummmmmyyyyy :D:D even though I realised afterwards that had misread how much sugar, had put 2 tablespoons in instead of 2 teaspoons. Was expecting it to come out wrong. but it turned out all right in the end. Phew! would have been a megga disaster if my first one had been bird food.:lol:

The recipe also stated two eggs, so of course they came from my girls :D . It made me feel like a domestic godess today too as I am pretty rubbish in the kitchen.

Hubby said when he came home from work the house smelt lovely, as had a nice caserole cooking for him, plus the small of the fruit load.

Went out for a run tonight and chucked the ingredients in for a basic white and it was ready when came back. Looks like its turned out fine, proof will be in the tasting tomorrow. Think am going to have to do some extra running to burn of the extra cals from this lovely bread.

Machine is really quite too, for some reason I thought it would be noisey. I am really pleased with it
