jam
... A Serama breeding pair! I went to my first poultry sale on saturday, aiming to buy some pekins. But I saw these two gorgeous serama bantams, (I was most taken by the cockerels huge tail feathers!) so they just had to be bought! I knew nothing about them so did some research and discovered that these are the smallest chickens in the world! Hence tiny's name. I can't believe how tame they are, they just sit on your arm and eat from your hand. This is Tiny, the serama hen. Im not sure how old she is, so I'm waiting for her first tiny egg! And this is the cockerel. I cant think of the right name for him. I was thinking a big, royal one to suit his personality- struts his stuff and king of teeny chickens! Any ideas?? Redwing
I had some stay here for a while as part of a chicken train, I had them three weeks and fell in love with them , great little characters Be sure to keep an eye on them in the winter, they arent always very hardy so a sheltered run is a must
