So very very chuffed and thank you Cottie, Dottie or Lottie - not sure who's responsible!

 

Is this the fastet first eggy ever?

 

The man came and set up our Eglu by about 12:30 then sometime between then and 2pm I just had a little look and there it was in our nesting box! One lovely egg, about medium size I'd say!

 

He did say that this batch are very good layers and another customers hen had laid in the van!

Aww congratulations on your first egg. thats brilliant. Am so happy for you & your new hens.

 

There is something very special about finding an egg waiting for you, I dont think will ever get used to it. In fact was telling the girls to hurry up today as we have used the past couple up.
