Cinnamon
Has anyone used them to get to an event or concert? My girls are going to see Muse next friday & the husband now informs me that he is really busy that day,so won't be able to easily take them Its out of my driving comfort zone,& the rail journey looks complicated (4 changes from us),plus I don't relish the thought of them on a late train home............. The national Express service is easy (ish) for us to get to the drop off/pick up point,& takes them to the stadium doors, for £40. Would love to hear your thoughts
Couperwife
ive used coach companies (could have been National Express) to get to places before me and mum used to go to the vitality show in london and get a coach there and back from Tamworth they were always on time - and clean, as long as you had a ticket you were on with a seat the driver took my trolley and stuck it in the boot so I didnt have to fight with it we are using a coach company to go to Howarth and Grassington Christmas markets - but this is National Holidays not NE. Hope this is useful cathy x
Egluntyne
I've used National Express numerous times when travelling with my son's football team when he was younger. Very mixed company on the bus, often with sharpened elbows for the best seats, but apart from that, no problems. You get what you pay for, really. The drivers are fine, and very observant and helpful.
Cinnamon
That all sounds good - I will certainly be happier with them on a coach that at several train stations at night. Thanks for your help
craftyhunnypie
I used to use National Express From Munich / Paris to Stoke on Trent! Absolutely perfect every time. On time, very caring about a young girl travelling on her own. oh & there was a snack trolley! The only thing that was a bit iffy, was I had to get off the coach at Birmingham once for the drivers ' break'. It was a ridiculous hour of the morning. As long as you didn't stray far from the coach, you were ok. But I can imagine other youngsters doing other wise. I did go over the road once, when the coach stopped at Victoria London. There was a shopping centre opposite, that I just had to browse in. Naughty me! But it was in the daytime, with loads of other shoppers about. I'd recommend them. The Dogmother
I used to use them when I lived in London and didn't need a car; they were always reasonably priced and I felt safer than on trains. I'd say it's the best option for them. Where are they going to?
Cinnamon
Wembley stadium to see Muse,Claret The journey is only an hour or so,so breaks shouldn't be a concern.

Shame I'm busy, or I'd drop them down there, it's straight off the M40.
