Raina Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 Hi all, On Tuesday when i was putting some vaseline on Orakiah's legs (She doesn't have SLM i just put it on to be on the safe side) i had noticed she had lost a few chest feathers.I didn't really think much of it as it didn't look like loads had come out, but today when i cleaned out her nest box there were Alot more feathers than i'm used to, i found about 10 i normally only find about 1 - 2 a week Is she moulting or is she pulling them out herself? I'm not sure if she's broody.She spends alot of time in the nest box but comes running out when she hears us and is still laying eggs.
