"No we havent got a water bed or a leaky hot water bottle (nor had we weed either ) water was dripping throu overhead light socket onto matress. OH leapt up and got down the loft ladder - by this point I was downstairs getting a bowl and was shocked to see on my way back up that Hubbie had not secured the ladder which comes down in 3 pieces and he was flying across the landing like a trapeze artist with me shrieking in terror - Billy Smart's circus might give him a job if desparate The cold water pipe from the tank had sprung a leak . It is being fixed as I write. The vision of my lovely hubbie sailing over the landing on the ladder will stay with me a long time. Thankfully damage minimal.
