njoy Posted September 25, 2010 Share Posted September 25, 2010 I have two 16 week pekins, Arietty a lavender and Lottie a salmon. Lottie is slightly smaller and has usually been a liitle picked on by Arietty. however now Lottie seems to be treating Arietty as her mum and keeps trying to get uner her wing, leading to some amusing chases around the run with Arietty trying to get away until Lottie has her pinned against the run side and is pushing her self under Arietty.Has anyone else ever had this behaviour in their hens. Arietty does seem a little more advanced in that her voice is 'breaking' sometimes she boks whilst Lottie only ever cheeps. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At night it looks like I only have one big fat proud girl .
