lilacmerle
I have seen a cockerel i would love to buy off this site but i cant seem to find out how the system works. I cannot seem to find the sellerws contact details anywhere and all its asking me is for is payment. But whom am i paying and how does it work and what if i cant get the details for the seller so i can pick the cockerel up. This site doesnt explain itself very much, so can someone who has bought off this site explain what happens with a sale. thanks
MarkBevBen
Are you wanting to buy from Omlet? We got our Eglu and girls from Omlet and it was quite a straightforward process, we selected what we wished to buy and went throught to the payment page, entered our details and that was it. We got acknowledgements and estimated delivery times and such, they're very good we thought
meezers
I bought a chook through Omlet last year, so not sure if it's changed. I know I was able to send a message to the seller, I think that bit comes up after the payment details.

Chucky Mama
You would need to discuss collection or delivery options with the seller. Most sellers would expect you to collect. It is always wise to collect as it gives you the opportunity to see the conditions that the chicken has been kept in and also to inspect it fully before committing. Geoid
I assume you are buying from the Omlet Marketplace It says: This item may be for collection only and not for delivery by the Seller or Omlet. Once purchased instructions for collection will be emailed to you. But, if you contact the seller and ask them to deliver it, they may be willing to. Lewis
I've listed through the marketplace - I was contacted by the person but they didn't buy it so you must be able to email them without paying. As with other ways of selling, you will most probably be expected to go and collect the bird, and not have it delivered. There are some specialist bird/animal couriers which is probbaly what you'd have to use to have it sent, rather than the owner driving it to you
