Difficulty is that the course he wants to do Meteorology with Oceanography is only offered as a joint study at one uni...so he's going to apply for Meterology or Oceanography at the others..and he's not quite sure how to pitch it and keep a balance.......any ideas welcome! The Unis are choosen I think, & the courses picked - the application will go off tonight I just wanted to thank you all for your advice & particularly thank The Bradly Bunch who looked through the draft & gave my daughter heaps of really great advice,which was invaluable This forum is brilliant for stuff like this - don't know how I would manage without it sometimes! My son has completed his PS and will hopefully be getting the things he needs (reference?) from his college today to sort out his applications this week. Had to find it the other day to help my friend who's applying for Vet school, I'd forgotten what it all said Still happy with it though People who were in my year that took gap years, and friends in Lower 6th have just started to get offers these last few weeks. the bradley bunch Posted November 6, 2010 Share Posted November 6, 2010 sarah & debbie - only just looked back at this thread so didn't see your messages until now... no probs guys, i hope your YD & YS get the offers they're after & i wish them lots of luck with their exams. as i've said before you should be very proud mamas because both your children are very talented young souls and having not long graduated myself i can say without a doubt that any university would be lucky to have them! good luck to everyone else going through the process, either themselves or with their child, & congrats to all of you who have received offers already!
