But now 2 of the chickens i dont have a clue what breed they are , I bought them as a rhode island red and a araucana ... So Can You Help ? Redwing Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 hmm the first one is tricky, its not a RIR but doesnt really look like anything else, its a bit welsummer-ish in shape but has white earlobes and is too dark in colouring - I'd say its a very pretty cross breed The second one is an Araucana I think though not a very good example of the breed Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hate to say this but are you 100% certain she's a girl. I have absolutely no experience in these matters, but she's just so very different from my lady.
