Trougher
While Animal Madhouse was on last night, on BBC1 was a new series of Nigel Slater's Simple Suppers. I recorded it as I was watching Animal Madhouse. On watching Nigel Slater this morning, I was delighted to see that he visited a family who have 3 ex-batts in their garden, and they had a chat about it. The chicken bit is only on for a few minutes, but it was lovely to see these three chickens, one of whom had quite a few feathers missing, enjoying the garden. Did anyone see it, are the owners on here? If you missed it I don't know whether you can catch it on BBC iplayer? sage
I watched it, was so jealous of the couple he was talking to. Great allotment, greenhouse full in the garden and the chickens. Would love a set up like that but between work looking after a 2 year old and husband and chickens I just don't have time. Sage

Kit
Super just watched it and I would like one you lovely people to tell my husband that I would like a nice wooden greenhouse sat on paved stones for my 40th birthday next year. Any volunteers? will settle for a caged area over my vegetable beds too
