EGLU HEAT PROBLEMS

[jam]

Ive just been reading poultrymans diary in this months practical poultry and was intrigued about the mention of the use of a magnet to avoid cockerels from hatching... It was quite a vague discription, Im guessing its not as simple as it sounds otherwise we'd all be talking about it, but has anyone else heard of this or knows how it works?

Umm

Sadly, I think not

Haven't had chance to read it yet but interested to know what he's going on about!

If it worked then I think the commerical hatcheries that churn out hundreds of millions chickens a year may have caught on by now

Flippin' heck I shall rub my incubators with a magnet in one direction then shall I?

But I actually love my little chooky men.

I must agree, girls are all well and good, but they just dont have as much character as the boys

Might as well turn 3 times widdershins as well.

I've heard this and a few others like it before and as far as I know, it doesn't work
