Lewis
I spotted too Think they may have realised the price increase was a bit much ... but do understand that their materials costs are going up so needed to be done.

green
I'm very tempted to order a second extension for my eglu, just in case. Does anyone else have an eglu with the run extension A and B? I don't need to move mine, so the weight and size wouldn't be a problem, but I would still need to be able to change the dirty bedding. I think I need to do some measuring. Egluntyne
I have them knocking about. I can manage to move the run myself with just the converter added, but find the standard run with both pieces added far to heavy and unwieldy to move as one piece, and have to take it apart for poo shifting purposes. green
Thanks Egluntyne! I told Hubby that we could get the extension cheaper now and that would make enough room for another two hens. To my surprise he didn't bat an eye lid and said that it sounded like a good plan. I think he's just as hooked on the chooks as I am! We probably won't need to take the run apart when cleaning if we can separate it from the eglu and move it aside, but the moving bit has got to be a two man job.
