Space Chick
The espresso part, instead of the coffee going into the cup below, it's spraying all directions.
craftyhunnypie
Sounds like the nozzle is blocked with ground coffee - or has coffee burnt on it? Other than that the pressure is too high or there is a tiny hole in the nozzle in a wrong place? Emma.x
Space Chick
Hmmmn, thanks I honestly don't know what to do for the best, I was so excited about getting it today
Space Chick
There was a little plastic thing that needed to go in the nozzle It's now working perfectly Although, with all these experimental espressos I think OH and I will be climbing the walls wide awake at 3am Thanks Rhapsody and Emma for your help

craftyhunnypie
Ha ha! I know what it's like to be like that as we have a Delonghi bean to cup over the road at our work unit. I had similar complications with ours when we first had it. I didn't know how to adjust the volume of coffee produced for different cups ( it was just a dial) & also there was a plastic cup height adjuster too. Hmm I still can't do the shhhhhhhhhhhhwwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrpppppp steamy milk thing though! Ahhh well. Happy dancing on the ceiling at 3am! Lewis
Is the pressure too high so instead of the coffee filtering through its being shot out?
