Plum
I'd pop Tia in with them and then seperate them in the morning if you are not ready for them to mix. Just go down by about 7.30 when it's getting light.
beach chick
wot plum said - but if you get out and find they are all getting on like a house on fire then maybe sleeping together will have done the trick and you can leave them to it? the-real-tinkerbell
i was kind of hoping that but my WIR is only 15ft x 6ft atm and has my 5 big girls in ,im not sure if its big enough for 7 girls ?
Plum
I reckon it'll be fine but make sure you have perches or things for them to pop behind if they need to and extra feed and water stops.
the-real-tinkerbell
hmmm you have me thinking now lol it would only be for a couple of weeks as im having 6ft added to the run when i pull my finger out and move it on to the new base lol
Snowy
If they are happy together, I would risk the temporary overcrowding.
Space Chick
7 girls in a run that size is fine It works out at about 9 metres squared, and the general recommendation for standard large fowl is 1 square metre per girl. So unless they are all Orpingtons, Cochins, Brahmas etc then you should have nothing to worry about
