What to do with really annoying fox

Recommended Posts

I have a barking mad neighbour (think mack tied with string, tea cosy hat, dentures that waggle about and filthy rich) who feeds the foxes with cheap chicken breasts that she gets from Asda.

At least the fox will go to hers to dine first I suppose.

Hey Egluntyne - I thought we had the monopoly on her !!!:lol::lol:

Mine invites the foxes and badgers into her conservatory! Parallel universe? :anxious:

My Vet told me that although he keeps chickens, he feeds the foxes at the bottom of his garden. It was a conscious decision on his part, and as a result he keeps his girls in a large secure run. I know this is unpopular, but I'm kind of with him on it..(not the fox feeding thing, because I personally wouldn't) but that foxes are only doing foxy things. There are many foxes around here and although they started off wild, (living at the local harbour) they are moving in and getting bolder all the time. We have done our best to make the garden secure, but for me as a vegetarian, it is a step too far to destroy a fox deliberately (although I understand others are able to do this) . Therefore my only course of action is to be vigilant and keep my girls secure by only letting them have supervised free ranging. Foxes will always do what they do, and they will always come back or be replaced by another. Depressing but a fact. :(
