Did anybody see the Alan Titchmarsh show tonight? I had it on in the background and heard Sooty and Sweep were on.

I ended up with tears rolling down my cheeks it was so funny, same old foremat, they were making Christmas cards and ended up getting very messy, getting paint on Alan Titchmarsh and then squirting him with water. So wonderfully innocent but hilarious, really took my back to my childhood....am very tempted by the Sooty DVD which is out!!

I remember once being at a dinner party in the early 80s and there was a couple there obviously not happy about eachother at the time and he was going on and on about how he was a great tele producer and was name dropping hideously. His wife silenced him with a black look and the retort, "Oh, for heaven's sake you produce Sooty!" I'll never forget it
