Warm white LED christmas tree lights

Recommended Posts

Well, after the malfunction this year, I am looking for some new lights for our tree.

I refused to get any of the original LED ones as I hate the blue-white light and much prefer the softer hue of the old style lights, but I am fed up with testing them, putting them on the tree, only for a bulb to go

Are the new 'warm white' ones really as soft a light as the old-style bulbs, and can anybody recommend any which they have tried? I'll have a look in the local garden centre and the DIY sheds when I get a moment.

Oh, and I want mains; not battery, and static not twinkling.

We recently bought a light-up nativity for the garden, and some solar lights for one of the trees outside from a company called "festive lights". We were really impressed with the lights and I would recommend giving their site a look. They've got their sale on now too.

Here's a link to their warm-white indoor christmas tree lights section. I hope the link is of some use to you...

Good luck!

My outdoor lights are a lovely candle flame warm white, they are from Wilkinsons. My tree lights are the same colour but I think they were from Woolies. The choice of colours is on the box, white or blue-white. I would imagine all their lights have the same colour chioce? Good time to buy though, I bought my outside ones for a fiver a few years ago in the sale.
