Mollie333 Posted January 4, 2011 Share Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) I was checking the chickens today, and picked Bruno up to see that the left side of his face is swollen, and there is bubbling discharge coming from his eye. I have never seen the cockerels fight with eachother, he seems fine in himself, except lack of sight from that eye obviously. I thought it could be an infection of some kind? I have bathed the eye with cotton wool making sure i throw away each piece and not to spread it, incase it is an infection. Anything else i can do? I think i'll bathe it with tea tomorrow. Any idea what it is? I have checked all the others and noticed nothing Update: He is sat eating and drinking on my bedroom floor, been in a box over night, the swelling doesn't look better, but now the eye is glued shut.
