sage
Yesterday Vera laid for the first time in weeks. Last night as I was putting eggs in a box to take to work today I accidently cracked Vera's egg. Not wanting to waste it I put it in a little pot. As I broke the egg into the pot a lash the size of a marble fell out . The egg had a funny smell so it got rinsed down the sink. Has anyone else had a lash within an egg? JanTheDiver
Sorry for my ignorance, I have heard this term before but am not sure I know what it means.
Ain't Nobody Here
Eeewwww . Thank goodness you hadn't cracked it into a cake mixture . Jan, here is some light reading for you - just don't be eating when you read it .
JanTheDiver
Thanks for that, I wondered what it was I found in poop tray the other week, meant to post on the forum at the time but didn't get round to it. I was a little concerned as the one I saw seemed to have a neck, beak and body so was wondering if one of the girls had got out and found a cockerel somewhere
