Hi

My structure sits on railway sleepers, I (well hubby) then caulked around the outer edge with transparent shower sealant, we did it twice over a few days allowing it to dry inbetween. The sides are covered with clear tarp blinds that are fixed to the WIR at intervals down the slide with hooks and at the bottom with wood - so it doesn't flap in the wind and the water runs down the plastic and away from the edge of the WIR.

Reading this back it may seem complex but its not - there are some pictures on another thread of ANHs (mine is very similar) setup

A good thing to remember is that if your water table is high & you slab the base of the run,the water will have no means of draining away.

We have a high water table here & several natural springs around the garden,so our run base is soil, which is topped with Aubiose. This does get wet from the bottom up when there has been a lot of rain, but it does drain away well afterwards too, which would not be the case if the base was solid.
