Ain't Nobody Here
A splash . (I keep an old sports bottle by the kitchen sink and just squirt a very small amount into each glug .)
mollyripkim
I give them a splash in their water - breeder I got my girls from suggested doing this one week every month. Have kept to it as I am scared of not doing everything right.
Blue-DiamondChick07
My bottle says 5ml - 10ml per litre of water
chicken bark
I tend to have one drinker with a splash of ACV in and another with none in. That way if they want it they can drink it and if I've accidentally put too much ACV in then they can still get a drink elsewhere.
Cranfield Kate
it made mine throw up and have diarrhoea, even when I did it one tenth of the instructions.
oneyolktoanother
does the cider vinegar have to be from a chicken suppiler or is it the same in the supermarket?
ElvisFan
I get mine from Asda and they have been fine on it (touch wood) I put a cap full in to a glug.
Egluntyne
does the cider vinegar have to be from a chicken suppiler or is it the same in the supermarket? The supermarket stuff is for culinary use and isn't the right sort. The sort you want is the unrefined version. You can buy it at equestrian shops or in the Omlet shop. ElvisFan
Oh Egluntyne, I didn't know that, what's the difference ? They seem fine on the supermarket stuff but I guess its not doing them the good I thought it was !
chicken bark
I believe the unrefined stuff contains the 'mother'? I got mine online when I bought my last lot of flubenvet. It's cheaper than the supermarket stuff too.
