Eggasperated
A couple of weeks ago there was a Dyson thread which mentioned the Dyson vacuum cleaner service. I didn't know you could have this machine serviced so after reading the thread I arranged to have my 7 year old Dyson Animal serviced. I was really pleased, for £70 the machine was serviced, tested, the on / off switch replaced (had to leave it turned on at the switch previously as it was almost impossible to get the switch to work if it was turned off), the whole rewind cable assembly replaced and a new small turbo head supplied. Many thanks to the original thread and to Dyson, my machine now has a whole new lease of life .
Willow
It's a good service isn't it, it nice when so many items need to be thrown away when they break that Dyson aim to keep them going.

Nice but extremely unusual in our throw away society - I love my dyson and glad it will be serviced to be like new
