AmandaR
But I was wondering whether there is a rough time span between when a hen starts to 'crouch' and then starts to lay eggs? Shadow has been crouching for a few days and I've not managed to get much work done this week because I'm checking the Eglu for an egg about 10 times a day! The anticipation is getting the better of me and so wondered from others experience how long it took between events or is it just like asking when a child is going to walk when they have only just started crawling? Thanks.
Leicester_H
I only know from my 2. One laid after a few days of starting to squat down, Boo (the naughty one!) keep me waiting 7/10 (?) days. They are a law unto themselves !! H
