Installing Indoor Cat Tree

My pepper plants in the greenhouse have white fly . I seem to remember my dad spraying plants with watered down washing up liquid. Has anyone else tried this and if so how much liquid to water?

Are there any other suggestions?

I use one of those lance sprayers, filled with water with just a couple of drops of washing up liquid and a drop of vinegar. You will need to spray quite regularly but it does work.

One of those little hand held sprayers that are about 99p from garden centres work well enough. The mixture of vinegar and washing up liquid with water also works on greenfly.

I've got pots of French Marigold outside the greenhouse and a pot of Basil inside. I read somewhere that the Marigolds deter whitefly from entering the greenshouse to feed on the veggies. If that fails whitefly love basil so much they will eat that before touching my Tomatoes.

That's a good idea, feed them a crop you don't need I use companion planting in the veg bed, which seems to work, hope this isn't tempting fate

 

I heard marigolds are good at warding off green fly too
