coco
I have just come in from work to find 15kg of woodchip has been delivered. It has my details on the bags but no delivery note or invoice. As far as I know I haven't ordered any and have checked with the credit card company and no payment has been made. the only thing i can think of is a freind of ours is a tree surgeon and said he would drop some off before christmas. I was expecting a pile in the front garden not all nicely bagged. Never look a gift horse in the mouth, hopefully I've got a load of free woodchip. Fingers crossed. Its very strange though, I'll have to find out where it came from.
Chortle Chook
A free bag would be grand but I'd be cautious and wouldn't open it for a bit just in case it needs to be returned or sent on to someone else.
coco
Its actually seven 15kg bags. I have been in touch with the company on the bag and they are looking into it but think its strange. Hopefully they might let me keep it as I would imnagine it would cost them more to pick it up than its actually worth.
nikkichick
Sounds like a bonus!!! I'm trying to get hold of some woodchip from B&Q and apparently none of the stores within a 30 mile radius of my house have any woodchip! Silly multimillion pound company. Very unhelpfu;! We had the same trouble with B&Q, checked every branch for weeks before deciding to go with the Rapport instead. Fortunately our WIR is dry so is okay to use that, but not sure how we would have coped otherwise. Yes you would think a huge company like them would keep supplies as it's a very popular product. Bramble
I think it's only the BIG B&Q Warehouses that do woodchip (and beware, even when the website says it's available and in stock, that does NOT necessarily mean it's available to buy ... long story, but if you're making a special trip, I'd call first)
