mollyripkim
I was watching my girls from the kitchen today when a cat suddenly jumped out from under the patio furniture cover straight onto poor Gertie. She really made a lot of noise and flapping and the cat raced away, there was a lot of feathers both fluffy and tail feathers. I have checked her over and couldn"t find any wounds and she seems ok so we have had a lucky escape. Hope she is Ok and shock won't hurt her. I have seen the cat before and actually have a bucket of water balloons outside the back door as I was hoping to discourage him from coming to the garden. My own cat sits amongst the girls and they take no notice of her. I'm upset as they FR all afternoon as I work from home but I will have to rethink as anything could happen if I am on the phone. migsy
Hopefully the cat has learned not to do it again. Well done Gertie!
