darkwoodali
OK, so the Superglug that came with our Cube doesn't have nipples but I've noticed ones on Ebay that do. Any idea why this is? What do chickens prefer? I've noticed one of my girls doesn't seem to like using the dip your beak in kind of Glug and seems to prefer trying to source her water from droplets on the run bars... Chortle Chook
Any pictures of the kinds you mean? I have one of those glugs that are made up of two round bowls with a bit at the back to hook onto the cage. My chooks use this when they come out first thing in the morning, but for the rest of the day they seem to prefer to drink from a large shallow dish that is meant for my doves. I put it on a tub under a mini bay tree. The water in both this and the glug is changed each morning.
Redwing
Its the superglug - the original had droppers below and needed to be hung high up, the chickens pack at the droppers to get water The new one is designed to hang lower down has no droppers and the chooks drink from the top like the standard glug I dont know why Omlet changed the design but do know that many people's chooks couldnt get to grips with the droppers despite the fact that all chooks live to peck rain off the run bars
Lewis
If she likes the dripping off bars you could get a rabbit water bottle and see if she'll drink from that? Tbh you could get a dozen different drinkers and they'd rather drink drips and from puddles
