Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

I have not long come in from work to find new girl Fifi wandering round the front garden. Little madam had dug under the run, at least she is friendly and came to me straight away. The new girls are on the vegetable patch at the moment and the ground is really soft. I'll have to find a way to stop her getting under the run or move the run onto the concrete.

I thinks she's going to be trouble she's got that look about her.

our little cream legbar Daisy is trouble but she does make me smile but sometimes the oh does get annoyed especially when she kicks dirt all on him

I knew that some chickens like to fly but I didn't know some would dig their way out Luckily, so far, none of mine have shown much inclination to escape. I do hope it stays that way. I'm nervous now

I used to find Steph wandering around on the grass and could never work out how she did it. Then I caught her at it . She'd discovered that she could limbo dance under the Omlet netting where there's a 'gate' . Luckily none of the others were bright enough to follow suit .

Ain't "Ooops, word censored!"ody Here, I've just clicked on the WIR link on your signature and I can't think why on earth any bright hen would want to escape from that set up. It is just brilliant

My poor girls are too stupid to escape. Half the time they can't even get out when the gate is open! If the open gate is on one side of the run, but you're on the other side, they just pace back and forth trying to get through the wire to get directly to you. It doesn't occur to them that you can go through the gate onone side and go around. We had to invest in another door in the end!
