darkwoodali
When I woke the girls up this morning I noticed one of them (Egg) kept doing a little squeak, a bit like a sneeze. This was after she'd had a rather vigorous session in the Grub so I'm wondering if she might have got a pellet stuck somewhere or if it's a sign of something else. Any ideas? chick wiggle
Maybe she just got some pellet dust up her nose, see how she is later, if she keeps sneezing try some Citronella in her water thats good for sniffles.
chuckmum6
Mine squeak sometimes, usually it is just dust up the beak, if they are caught squeaking more than a couple of times they get a quick squirt of nutri drops which always seems to do the job! I also have a clove of garlic in their water or cider vinegar or citronella, although they prefer puddles! Just keep an ear out and see if it was a one off squeak! sari
My Leghorn barks and purrs, with the occasional squeak...I put tonic in the water with ACV, and garlic and spice in the feed, as I was so woried at first...but she is fine, and I assume this is just her.. Plum
One of mine has done this for some months and in January had a respiratory infection. Following that it is far more frequent. I've taken her to vet and her chest is clear and she said ignore it It's sort of half way between sneeze and cough.
darkwoodali
Yep, squeaking stopped so think it might well have been a bit of dust up there. Greedy thing!
