Couperwife
I went to see this last night I really enjoyed it, i was giggling in the first scene - I like that in a film the music was all Elton John, and there was obvious Elton bits in it, but it was still fun I want a gnome now has anyone else seen it? cathy x
CatieB
Yes...unfortunately. Not for me but then I don't like Elton John or the ususal kids films (which I felt it was). To be fair my friend enjoyed it, so maybe just me. However I have recently seen (twice) despicable me and that was fab. I laughed from the opening scene and would throughly recommend it. Clur
Tangled was brilliant too. I took four little girls to see it and I think I must have enjoyed it the most! We took our two to see Gnomeo and Juliet and I enjoyed it, but didn't find it as funny as I'd hoped. I was told Elton John was behind the whole project. Apparently the film was on hold for several years as Americans weren't familiar with the concept of pottery figures with large hats, sat on pottery toadstools, fishing for plastic fish in a man-made artificial pond. Can't think why not!
LuckyChickenLover-
I was going to see it last week, but I was outvoted (The winner? Big Mommas... which was awful ) .
iar fach goch
Went to see it last week for YS birthday. All really enjoyed it (age range 5 - 53!). Enjoyed music and it was funny - I too was giggling in the first scene. My only problem was that Gnomeo reminds me soooooooo much of MS friends Dad and I can't look at him now without giggling!
