teacake
What does everyone think about how many feeders you need, if I'm getting 4 chickens will the one set of grub/glubs be enough, or is it better to get another set so there is less chance of squabbling over who gets breakfast first? Redwing
One set should be fine but a couple of coop cups would be handy to provide an extra feed/drink station when you merge the chooks
oneyolktoanother
for our 4 chickens we had a 5 kg galvanised feeder for them but due to pecking and bullying we had to serperate them into pairs into two big runs so they have one each run ,not sure on grubs never used them someone will soon be along to tell you about them hope this helps
Eggasperated
I've got 5 chickens but I have 3 grubs on the go as one of the Black Rocks spends her time rushing round desperately needing to eat out of the grub that someone else is using . I'm sure she gets more exercise than she does food .
Sammiboo
we have 4 hens and one grub - but with the 3 new arrivals will get another
teacake
thanks for the responses, a black rock is on my wish list, perhaps I'll have to get a grub just for her!
Purplemaniacs
I had one grub and one glug for my 4, but when I merged two groups together to make 6 in total I had two of each plus little pots in different postions with food in, to ensure that every one could get to some food.
