Run netting anti predator bit not flush on lawn.....help!?

Recommended Posts

I am the proud owner of a new Eglu classic with a run extension......I built it all up and found that the bit of my garden that the chooks are going to go in is not *quite* flat.....soooo the run is not flat on the ground. Is there a simple solution to this? Are there some anchoring pins or summit I could sort this out with? It would be fine with some sort of stay put anchoring....

Omlet sell some screw type run clips which hold the run down, but they are a bit pricey, or you could use tent pegs....or if you have any railways sleepers or heavy plant pots?

If your hens are going to be in a permanent place, then the sleepers or planters would be best (planters also look nice!!)

When my Cube was in my old garden, it remained in one place, I put tent pegs in to start with and then the grass just grew up into the mesh and knitted into it, I also put soil under the gaps to try to make it better.
