Henslaved
I'm sorry . What a terrible shock . Sometimes hens are quite good at disguising illness till it's too late.
Cheryl
I keep thinking its my fault.. but I know i'm really looking after my flock.. they are well fed and clean and loved.. I suppose when you have 30 or more chickens these things do occur, I did loose a few over the really cold snap we had, but now it's got a bit nicer I wasn't expecting it.. mind you it did get to -1 in London last night... Plum
How sad, I lost one suddenly and really you can't tell what happened. You could ask for a postmortem
chicken bark
I think sometimes these things just happen and there is no rhyme or reason.
