Alis girls
having got through a very cold winter surrounded by people with flu, swine flu and colds at home and at work - and not so much as a snuffle - why now it is positivley tropical and feel the need to get in the garden do I feel like pants. I have a wheezy cough, ears and throat ache and although thermometer tells me otherwise I feel hot. Most be the copious amounts of paracetamol I have wolfed down. Why now when I want to kick of my shoes and put on a skirt and run round the garden. I think it must have sent me delirious too men in white coats approach
Seagazer
Oh dear, I must say that YS appears to be coming down with a cold as well as his hayfever! If you feel like running around the garden, you go for it. I hope you feel better soon.

fluffyfeet
Snap! I've been the same this year - really well through the winter, avoided all the things that everyone else seemed to get and then at the weekend felt like death. Out came the Lemsips etc and I'm starting to feel a lot better now. Think I might have picked something up as my stress levels went through the roof last week and I know that affects my immune system. Have yourself a hot toddy or and hope you feel better soon. craftyhunnypie
A good measure of rum in a mug, topped up with boiling water & sipped will work wonders for you! If you don't like alcohol then try hot milk with honey stirred in & a good sprinkle of nutmeg on the top. Both really do work - don't ask me why. Hope you get better soon. j00lz_12366
If I start with a cold I try to top up my vitamin C levels-1 a day tablets and some really good 'bitty' orange juice-prob doesnt actually help but it makes me feel better! Look after yourself!
