had a very productive day..

Recommended Posts

I am absolutely convinced that I am very much affected by the weather. I felt v down on saturday-which wasnt helped by the dull weather here for much of the day. Today has been a bright sunny day and so far I have

-helped the decorator with the wallpapering (its a friend of o/h and he only charges us a minimal amount on the understanding that we labour when needed.

-planted millions of seeds (maybe a slight over exaggeration there). We are planning to put house on the market soon so I want the outside to look good to go with the inner renovations. Planted some alysum, lobelia, lavender, nasturtiums, pansies and something else that is a trailer.

-Also potted on some onions and caulis.

-Also (again) potted some tomato seeds.

-Then, walked to town, got the masonry paint to get the wall done before the WIR comes.

-Looked (mistakenly) for lavender or lilac woodstain in town..damn that means o/h will have to take me to b&q and will ban me fromm pulple loveliness

-Came back, chopped some more tree down-ready for WIR

-Took cat for a walk (twice). She doesnt leave the back yard unless she is escorted and she waited patiently-and then not so patiently for ages (about 6 minutes) so then i took her for a walk-20 feet where she can sniff new smells and be scared by water features and other cats..

-now, having a sit down before I start tea...shattered!

lol..because we were going to move..then we weren't so we decided to do the run thing..then my job situation changed so we are again..house will be up for sale in about 2 months-ish, if we get our fingers out..

it's not that we NEED to move-that we have a child needing to apply for a particular school etc. We just want to-i moved in with my partner and it kind of is 'our' house but kind of isnt. Also we don't have a spare bedroom here so that means no overnight visitors as o/h uses the spare bedroom as his office/studio. (Until me and his friend turn it into a bedroom for while its on the market!) We have gradually worked our way through the house doing each room-but very much in a 'this will be good when it goes on the market-type way, so there's lots of cream walls and white gloss etc.

Ideally we will get a 3 bedroom with off road parking and a mid sized garden, or we might get a 2 bed that can be made into a 3...or we have also seen some 4 and 5 beds on estate agents websites...

We are going to put it up for sale and just see what happens...

Also, its only 24 days til Chicken day!
