I looked online at trains to Aberystwyth & there are no trains back between 3.30pm & 9.30pm on Saturday. There are plenty back in the week. Arrrgh why did my hair appointment have to be a Saturday? I've now got to go in the car & there we were trying to be more green - ah well. I assume they are working on the lines between those times? Funny actually, as we were in Machynlleth last Saturday & noticed the lack of noise from the trains. Perhaps they weren't running at all last week. Strange! One goes direct + just stops at Newport + Machynlleth and the other stops at the little stops. Had to get a coach home + back this weekend and it was alright Was in Borth yesterday, crossing the track (there is a crossing!) and there was an empty train a couple minutes down the track that drove past us?!
