sharon1
Hi can anyone tell me if they have used the above item ( for pet rabbits/hamsters/g. pigs/ferrets and other small rodents)on their chickens for lice and is there egg withdrawal? (from Asda) I have been to powder my little broody wyandotte with barrier louse and red mite powder twice this past week (she has been caked in the stuff and today have notice two tiny white buggies running on her face, so the barrier louse/mite powder doesn't seem to be working. The coop is cleaned out every day as well as powdered. Just curious to know if the above has worked for others or will I have to go for something stronger, any advice gratefully appreciated. Chucky Mama
I wouldn't use it. It isn't recommended for any avians. Some products that are not licensed for poultry are at least licensed for the use in birds but this is only licensed for rodents.
sharon1
Thank you chucky mama, I wasn't sure if it was similar to frontline or not. Is there anything you could recommend
Chucky Mama
Many use Xeno200 spray or any other Ivermectin based product *not licenced for use on poultry in the UK*
