Eglu cube or go up with 2m run

Hi

Trying to keep chickens happy and they seem not to like the grub container , will out of a container on the floor ,

drink put of the glug , but the food one doesnt seem the right shape for them to get into, what to do .....

Do you have a hen with a hairdo that would cause problems but otherwise I don't understand why they would have a problem.

all 8 of my hens do not have an issue with the grub even the new ex batts. do they use it at all?

Have you tried it at all sorts of different heights? All my chickens are fine with theirs, even the cream legbars with their crests...

Maybe it is the food rather than the container that they aren't keen on. Is the use by date OK etc?

We have the Eglu Go feeder and Water that came with the go and I ordered the purple glug and grub afterwards.

 

I have no idea why, but my girls all prefer the purple grub to the yellow Go feeder. I always need to fill the purple one up before the yellow one, don't know if it is the shape or the colour. It isn't position because I move them around all the time.

 

We also have the ones that turn upside down and stand on the floor - I have given up on those though as they just end up kicking muck into it.

Hi

All seem to be eating now from the grub , but i have chopped up the pellets as they seem to big, and its working ...they loved their broccoli and rice last night all gone 5 mins.
