jlo
I am sitting here scoffing away as I read this thread! In my defence , it is a tuna salad (along with a glass of wine ) I have decided not to get hung up on weight. I have been exercising more seriously for a few months now and had a rescue lab/collie cross for the last month which has kept me walking. I haven't actually lost any weight at all but I know that I have changed as skirts and jeans are getting looser. OH has just informed me that, after the 6 mile run that I am doing on Sunday, we are playing a golf match. Don't think that I will be much good in it but at least it is a little more exercise! Blackrocksrock
Well done with everyones walking - thats some walking Seagazer - The walking really helps - I noticed a difference both in my fitness and my weight. I think sometimes you come in a size and dont lose any actual weight so keep going everyone - skirts and trousers looser is a good thing. Seagazer
Well I've just done my first session of Zumba - so glad "Ooops, word censored!"ody else was here to see I'm sure I got most of the moves wrong although the fireworks were sparkling in the background and the woman was telling me I was doing it well. It definitely got my heart thumping and I've just had my second shower of the day. I quite enjoyed it although probably if I just danced along to some music in a daft way it would probably have the same effect. I definitely know that I won't be signing up for Zumba classes as that would just be too embarrassing.
Ain't Nobody Here
You should . In my experience half the class don't do the moves right (including me ) and it's part of the fun, having a laugh about the mistakes you make .
Seagazer
I'd spend the whole class laughing, probably on the floor!
