Sammiboo
We are going on holiday in a few weeks and i am looking for a small (slim) storage shed to keep all the girls food and bits and bobs in rather than having a neighbour route through our main shed and will keep their cleaning stuff etc Does anyone have anything like this? I have been looking at somehting like: http://www.buyshedsdirect.co.uk/overlap-maxi-garden-wall-store
beach chick
looks great! we had one of those plastic ones (similar size & shape) for a couple of years, thinking it would be durable and low maintenance - how wrong we were! it has gone on the skip now. Sammiboo
i was thinking of one the plastic ones. Wont bother even looking at them. I didnt think it was too badly priced. Thought all their stuff can go in it as the current shed is bursting
Barkisland
I've got the plastic one, purchased from Argos, I've had it since I got my first girls - about 3 years - and it's still going strong, have had no problems with it except thsat the shelf was a bit flimsy, but I stand all my stuff on the floor of it anyway, so I would recommend it. Sorry tried to do a link but it's not working, mine's a Keter 'garden store', very similar to the one they have on sale at Argos presently for £119.99 . abwsco
We've a plastic store for all our gardening stuff that must be about 3 years old as well and that's fine.
majuka
That is very similar to what we have for our girls. Ours came from B&Q, it didn't have a floor so we put one in to keep things off the cold concrete. We can get 3 plastic bins in there, pellets, shavings & corn. We also added a shelf the full length of it and we keep the newspapers, spare feeders and drinkers on it, things like their ACV, cleaning prouducts etc. It is really convenient keeping things together in one small space, our main shed is quite large and much older with a lot of clutter and it was not possible to keep an eye on mice etc getting in. We can see at a glance with this one that nothing has been in leaving droppings in there (apart from the girls that is )
Sammiboo
i need to measure up as i can put it on the side of the shed if i can move the compost bins along a bit. i think it will make things a lot easier having one. I have lots of things i want to buy for them but its on hold as i have nowhere to store it all. Thanks for the input so far
Duncan08
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-8548.aspx?utm_source=GoogleShopping&utm_medium=GSF_NormalFeed&utm_campaign=GSF_TescoDirect&utm_content=205-8548 I use a storage box similar to this, it takes the bedding, food, treats, first aid etc and it sits near the chooks so I can sit on it to watch them!! It is waterproof and should be vermin proof too.
Redwing
Before my obsession burst out in to a stable block and various sheds I had a tall plastic shed store, its the green one rather than the white, the green are a little more robust. I bought a £20 plastic sheving unit and stood that inside so its shelves all the way up, it was at my previous home and must be getting on for 5 years old
