thought I would show you some photos of my VERY ramshackle, but I think rather beautiful (if you squint and close your eyes to the weeds) kitchen garden. we are very lucky, the wall you can see was already there but we built the raised beds and put down the slabbed paths you can see ourselves (well mr beach chick did!)

looking back towards the house, the bit you can see is actually next door

 

jerusalem artichokes behind the roses, potatoes to the left

 

more potatoes, and wonderful asparagus (for flower arranging, as I only ever get one spear at a time!!)

 

one of my lovely globe artichokes which I never have the heart to eat because they are so pretty...

 

french beans and courgettes doing nicely, raspberries are suckering all over the place!!

 

down here is No Mans Land... or the nature reserve as I like to call it!!
