My old ex-batts never did but my oh has agreed to us having more as we'll have our orps aswell and i'm trying to cover all problems.also any hints on intergation,apart from really slow. I do have a separate ark and am looking for a bargain go or classic for the future many thanks

Orps & recharged batts - what a lovely combination Our Boris has never left the ground I don't think & we've had her almost 3 yrs.

I don't think they can fly any more than other chookies can. They might be able to muster a flappy jump though. If you're worried you could always clip the primary flight feathers on one of their wings.

Yes they can, but in my experience they are not in the slightest bit interested in flying. Mine have only ever flown up onto the top of their run a couple of times - when I put some food up there out of the way of them They spend all day in an outdoor enclosure with 4ft high netting, not once have they flown over that, although they have pushed their way under it and onto my veg patch many times!

if you're scared of them flying you could clip their wings, that's always an option
