hopingforchickens
Well I didn't quite get finished today in time to go and pick the girls up, but everythings ready for Tuesday. That means I can make some fine tweeks to the run (like a couple of roosting bars) and make sure everything is perfect for their arrival. I'm absolutely shattered, and OMW how horrible is cutting chicken wire - I went for the thickest I could get and my hands are paying the price. I'm sure I'll be grateful in the long run, don't think my neighbours have enjoyed the almost constant hammering all day though. Oh well the gentle sound of chickens will be nothing in comparison

dancing cloud
So much better than xmas, as you know you're going to LOVE your presents When I first got hens (three years ago already ) my arrived on the Thursday and I had to wait till the Saturday pm to go and collect my ex-batt adoptees. I spent a day and a half primping and polishing just to be sure everything was perfect - and I was still early for the collection Will be expecting photos very soon!
