Autodoor, 12V supply and power settings

Just wondering what toy's chickens (bantam size) might like as boredom busters - they'll be in a 8' x 7' enclosed run

 

I should be able to attach things to hang down and/or on brackets at the sides............any ideas for hanging things and/or floor toys?

Mine love hanging bananas, broccoli and other veg. But they do get thru it quickly. I also have a ball in with them which they tend to ignore now but liked it at first. Now my silkies just trip over it Some people hang mirrors and cds too.

 

I also have perches and branches which they seem to like.

I hang up corn on the cobs to peck at, whole iceburg lettuce, half cucumbers, them peck-a-block things with corn and grit, and places to scratch and dust bathe. Shouldn't be bored.

Perches in the form of branches found in the woods/cuttings from the garden are a firm favourite!

What's easiest way to put up/add random perches - mesh will be 1" x .5" welded ?

I realise you said other than food, but my girls have rodent treat balls which I fill with a little bit of mixed corn and some mealworms, and then, very meanly I set it to the smallest possible setting so that as they bash it about with their beaks only a tiny tiny trickle of goodies emerge...this keeps them busy for hours in the winter months
