My broody only hatched 1 chick out of her 8 eggs last Thursday and that was 5 days late .. anyway was doing find and I have managed to sorse some day olds to put with her as I know they shouldnt be brought up on there own ..anyway this morning i went to check on mummy and baby ..mummy got out of her nest to greet me as she always does and baby was hanging from a feather from her chest dead :( poor wee thing and it was doing so well ....

now what do i do???? still get the day olds for her ? i cant get them until friday ...will she take to them i plan on putting them under her friday night if she is still sitting in her nest ....can i do anything ????
