Came home from work this other day to be greeted by this strange bird perching on my washing line...

This is Katrina - she's a 13 week Gold laced poland x RIR bantam and just as much of a handful as her dad (who decided to flap off and spend the night in a tree next door in -8 temps in the winter!)

 

All of this years babies are proving to be a handful. I have another who likes to roost 10ft up a conifer...
